Has anyone got a working Scorpion 4 board for sale please?
There's a special reason why i want to try and find a clean reliable Scorpion 4 board asap this week as a good friend of mine bought a machine in memory of a recently lost friend, as a tribute of the times they spent playing it together, but after finding one for sale and upon collection his insistance to see the machine working proved it had issues but the seller talked him round with a questionable discount and sentiment played a part too he bought it (what's done is done i guess) but it later completely packed up within hours.
There was battery leak damage, failed componants, iffy psu and i've spent the week doing my very best over the phone to try and work through it with him step by step and source parts but the last hurdle to getting this machine running is the board and we just can't find one for sale anywhere at present (as daft as that may seem) other than an expensive eBay one outside of remaining budget which has been stretched further than anticipated already replacing parts etc.
Is there anyone that can help us with a Scorpion 4 at a fair price and help get this tribute machine to finally run?
I know it sounds a bit of a sob story and to many it's just another machine but to him this is really important and there is a lot of meaning behind it that not everyone might relate to.
Just hoping someone here within the community might be able to help supply us one.
