Hi Everyone
I posted previously, having some issues with an erratic display on my "The Mob" MPU4 unit. Comments suggested that it was a leaky battery, so I purchased a repalcement board.
It arrived this afternoon, and I connected it up. Pleased to say that the erratic display problem is now gone, however despite the machine playing fine, accepting coins and all features working, it doesn't appear to be paying out, and the coin counters are not making any noise.
When I put it into test mode and attempt a "Coin Out" test, nothing happens. When I attempt a hopper dump using the refill key and the "Hopper Dump" switch next to the coin boxes, it says the float is short by £100 (the full float), and again nothing happens.
The hopper has plenty of coins in it. It just doesn't appear to be making any noises at all. I have checked all cables are secured.
Any suggestions as to what could be wrong? Is it possible the MPU4 board I bought has another fault? or have I missed something when putting it all back together?
Incase it is of any relevance. When comparing the two boards (which are both MPU4 Revision 4 boards), the replacement board appears to be missing a chip. See the attached pictures. I have highlighted the "missing" chip with a red outline. They are otherwise identical.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
